Servings: 8-10
Ingredients
16 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup everything bagel seasoning
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped bacon (optional)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup everything bagel seasoning
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped bacon (optional)
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined and smooth.
Stir in the chopped green onions and bacon, if using.
Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Once the cheese ball is firm, roll it in the everything bagel seasoning until fully coated.
Place the cheese ball on a serving platter and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving to allow it to soften slightly.
Variations & Tips
For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture. You can also experiment with different cheeses, such as pepper jack or gouda, for a unique flavor. If you’re not a fan of bacon, try adding chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts for a bit of crunch. For a festive touch, shape the cheese ball into a log or a holiday-themed shape before coating it with the seasoning
