Caramelized Pulled Beef Brisket in a Rich Spicy Sauce πŸ₯©

IngrΓ©dients:

3 lbs beef brisket

2 tbsp olive oil

2 onions, sliced

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp chili powder

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 cup beef stock

1 cup BBQ sauce

1 cup dark brown sugar

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 325Β°F (160Β°C).

Heat olive oil in a large oven-proof pot over medium-high heat. Sear the brisket on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside.

In the same pot, add onions and garlic. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in tomato paste, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, and chili powder. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, beef stock, BBQ sauce, and brown sugar. Stir well.

Return the brisket to the pot, coating it with the sauce. Cover with a lid and transfer to the oven.

Cook for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally, until the brisket is tender and can be pulled apart with a fork.

Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minutes. Shred the beef and mix with the sauce in the pot. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
